Terms of Service
Plain-language conditions of use for this website and the CIIS platform.
Last updated: May 2026. These terms apply to your use of impactintelligencelab.com and any CIIS pilot or demonstration session provided by Impact Intelligence Lab.
Who these terms apply to
These terms apply to anyone who visits this website or engages with Impact Intelligence Lab (“we”, “us”, “our”) in connection with the CIIS platform — including individuals enquiring about pilots, pilot participants, and organisations evaluating CIIS for procurement.
By using this website or engaging in a pilot, you agree to these terms. If you are acting on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation.
What CIIS is — and is not
CIIS is a structured impact reporting tool. It helps organisations connect evidence to outcome statements and understand what is ready to share externally, what should remain internal, and what requires further review.
CIIS does not:
- Replace professional judgement or accountable decision-making.
- Guarantee compliance with any legal, regulatory, or accreditation standard.
- Provide legal, financial, clinical, or evaluation advice. Any output should be reviewed by suitably qualified professionals before acting on it.
Marketing materials on this site — including claim reviews, evidence spine diagrams, and dashboard visuals — are illustrative or synthetic unless explicitly labelled as live client outputs. See the current status page for what is live versus in development.
Website use
You agree not to:
- Use this website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or disruptive.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system, account, or data connected to this website.
- Reproduce, distribute, or modify content from this site without our written permission, except where permitted by law.
Pilot and demonstration sessions
Pilot engagements are governed by a separate scoping agreement confirmed in writing before work begins. That agreement sets out the scope, deliverables, data handling, commercials, and any specific confidentiality obligations.
Where no separate agreement is in place, any information you share during an enquiry or guided conversation will be used only for the purpose of assessing fit and scoping a potential engagement — not for any other purpose.
Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, diagrams, and visual components — is owned by or licensed to Impact Intelligence Lab. CIIS, the Collaborative Impact Intelligence System, and associated visual and product elements are proprietary to Impact Intelligence Lab.
Nothing in these terms grants you any licence to use our intellectual property outside your personal, non-commercial review of this site.
Data you provide
Our use of personal information you provide is covered by our Privacy Policy. For organisational data shared during a pilot, the applicable data processing terms are agreed in writing as part of the pilot scoping process.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Australian law, Impact Intelligence Lab is not liable for any loss or damage — direct, indirect, or consequential — arising from your use of this website or reliance on any content published here.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of Australian courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
